Job summary

SEED Environmental, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead fire and flood restoration projects in the North Doncaster or Preston area.

You will oversee inspections, surveying, estimating, and programme management for insurance repair claims, coordinating with policyholders, insurers, and subcontractors to deliver safe, compliant outcomes on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction, insurance reinstatement or property repair projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and building repair works.
• Experience preparing project costings, valuations and final accounts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Visit policyholders and stakeholders to assess damage and agree scopes of work.
• Manage insurance repair projects from survey through to completion.
• Prepare costings, valuations and contract documentation using internal systems.
• Manage variations, interim valuations and final accounts.
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
• Monitor progress and provide accurate reports and updates.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and subcontractor performance.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget to quality standards.
• Liaise with policyholders, insurers and loss adjusters throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with office coordinators for document control and information management.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and snagging activities.
