Job summary

Catering is seeking a Contracts Manager – Construction to oversee multiple projects (£1m–£10m each) across the Yorkshire region. The role requires managing client relationships, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring delivery to time, budget and quality standards.

Occasional site or office-based work with UK travel is expected. The successful candidate will have a background in construction and refurbishment, experience on education, commercial, student accommodation, hotel, mixed-use schemes and

Qualifications

• Experience managing 2–3 projects valued £1m–£10m each.
• Proven track record in construction main contractor environments.
• Experience across education, commercial, student accommodation, mixed use, hotel, care, health and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the client relationship from start to finish.
• Oversee 2–3 projects concurrently.
• Program contracts and schedule milestones.
• Control budget, delivery and quality for each project.
• Lead client meetings and address issues.
• Implement Health & Safety plans on site.
• Motivate and lead project teams.
• Ensure effective cross‑site communication.
• Handover projects on time and to budget and quality.
• Assist with final accounts and project closure.
