Job summary

The PA Group UK, based in Dartford, seeks an experienced Contracts Manager (Asbestos Removal) to lead site and office teams, ensuring compliance with HSG 247 and the control of asbestos regulations. You will develop client relationships, prepare quotations, and oversee delivery of commercial and domestic projects.

PA Group UK Ltd part of the RSK Group have an exciting opportunity for experienced Contracts Manager (Asbestos Removal) to join our team based in Dartford, UK. The PA Group UK are a multidisciplinary, health and safety executive licensed asbestos removal and UKAS-accredited asbestos inspection and testing contractor.

Main responsibilities/duties

• Management of asbestos removal site and office teams, making sure compliance with HSG 247/control of asbestos regulations 2012 are met as a minimum standard.
• Preparation of notifications, method statements, risk assessments and company documentation.
• Easybop Remedial Administration Database.
• Building an excellent rapport with new and existing clients.
• Presenting and providing quotations for commercial and domestic works. Strengthening of client relations.
• Carrying out site audits.
• Being responsible for a framework contract
• Being part of the Contracts Managers team

Person Specification

• Previous experience in Asbestos removal.
• Training and qualification within this role and the asbestos industry is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, flexible, have good work ethic and have the ability to carry out the work effectively .
• The applicant will also have a sound knowledge of the Health & Safety procedures appertaining to asbestos.
• Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
