Job summary

Fintelligent Search Ltd is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager for the North West region. You will own multiple construction projects from planning through to handover, coordinating planning, procurement and contractor activity while upholding quality and safety standards.

You will lead on budgets, programmes and commercial considerations, manage client relationships, and support site teams. A collaborative, quality-focused environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management and contract administration.
• Strong ability to manage budgets, programmes, resources and risk across projects.
• Good knowledge of CDM requirements and construction lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of multiple construction projects from planning through to completion.
• Lead planning, procurement and contractor coordination while ensuring quality, health and safety and contractual standards.
• Manage client relationships, programme reporting, variations and commercial considerations throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide leadership and support to site teams and junior managers to drive standards and improvements.

If you're an experienced Contracts Manager looking for ownership of projects and the opportunity to influence how they're delivered, this role offers responsibility across the full construction lifecycle, from planning and procurement through to completion and handover.

You’ll have the autonomy to coordinate multiple projects, manage commercial and operational performance, and build strong client relationships. You’ll also work closely with site and operational teams in a collaborative, established business where quality and effective project delivery matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of multiple construction projects, managing programme, budgets, resources, risks and delivery through to completion.
• Lead planning, procurement and contractor coordination while maintaining quality, health and safety and contractual standards.
• Manage client relationships, programme reporting, variations and commercial considerations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide leadership and support to site teams and Assistant Contracts Managers, driving consistent standards and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience in construction management, contractor control and the delivery of construction projects.
• Strong experience managing budgets, programmes, resources and risk across construction projects.
• Good working knowledge of construction project lifecycles, contract administration and CDM requirements.
