Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is recruiting for a Contracts Manager in Tonbridge, Kent. The role oversees electrical compliance work orders across multiple contracts and leads an expanding team to maximise productivity and service.

You will manage pricing for remedials and installs to hit turnover and gross profit targets. The position offers clear progression toward senior leadership as the business grows, with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule and a competitive package including a company vehicle

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical contracting or electrical compliance (commercial/industrial/facilities).
• Proven experience managing or supervising engineers/contract delivery.
• Commutable to Tonbridge and a local role.

Responsibilities

• Operational ownership of electrical compliance work orders across multiple contracts.
• Manage and develop a team of 4-5 engineers plus planning & scheduling.
• Commercial responsibility: pricing remedials/installs, margin control, subcontractor rate negotiation.
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Tonbridge, Kent (Commutable from: Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Ashford, Bromley, Orpington, Paddock Wood)

Are you a Project Manager/Contracts Manager/Supervisor from an Electrical background, looking to join a growing market leader with a route into senior leadership as the business expands?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the business and mould a department through progression and autonomy.

This well-established company specialise in the electrical inspection and testing of building for their customers. Their client base is mainly within the commercial sector and has been expanding consistently, with a recent merger leading to further growth, as a result they are now looking to add a Service Manager to the team.

In this role you will manage an expanding team of 4-5 engineers and lead the planning and scheduling function to maximise productivity and customer service. You'll oversee work orders from instruction through to completion, manage subcontractors, and take commercial responsibility for pricing remedials and additional works to hit turnover and gross profit targets.

This role would suit someone from a Project or Contract Management background who wants ownership, influence over a team and wants a long-term opportunity to grow into the Director level.

The Role
