Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Contracts Manager in Tonbridge to oversee electrical compliance work orders across multiple contracts. You will lead a team of 4-5 engineers and manage planning/scheduling, with commercial responsibility for pricing remedials and installs to hit targets.

The role offers market-rate salary (£55,000 - £60,000) plus bonus (OTE £70k), a company vehicle, and strong benefits. Commutable from Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and surrounding towns.

Qualifications

• Electrical contracting/compliance experience in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Proven experience managing or supervising engineers/contract delivery.
• Willingness to commute to Tonbridge and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operational ownership of electrical compliance work orders across multiple contracts.
• Manage a team of 4-5 engineers and planning & scheduling.
• Commercial responsibility: pricing remedials/installs, margin control, subcontractor negotiations.
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Tonbridge, Kent (Commutable from: Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Ashford, Bromley, Orpington, Paddock Wood)

Are you a Project Manager/Contracts Manager/Supervisor from an Electrical background, looking to join a growing market leader with a route into senior leadership as the business expands?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the business and mould a department through progression and autonomy.

This well-established company specialise in the electrical inspection and testing of building for their customers. Their client base is mainly within the commercial sector and has been expanding consistently, with a recent merger leading to further growth, as a result they are now looking to add a Service Manager to the team.

In this role you will manage an expanding team of 4-5 engineers and lead the planning & scheduling function to maximise productivity and customer service. You'll oversee work orders from instruction through to completion, manage subcontractors, and take commercial responsibility for pricing remedials and additional works to hit turnover and gross profit targets.

This role would suit someone from a Project or Contract Management background who wants ownership, influence over a team and wants a long-term opportunity to grow into the Director level.

The Role:

• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

The Person:
