CNX Recruitment in partnership with a well-established construction contractor is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee multiple refurbishment and interior fit-out projects across Central and East Scotland.

You will lead Contracts Managers, Project Managers and Site Management teams, ensuring programmes, budgets and contractual requirements are met while maintaining client relationships and driving safe, efficient delivery.

Competenze

• Proven experience in a Senior Contracts Manager or similar role.
• Strong background in refurbishment and/or interior fit-out projects.
• Experience managing multiple live projects simultaneously.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Central and East Scotland.

• Oversee the delivery and performance of multiple refurbishment and interior fit-out projects across Central and East Scotland.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to Contracts Managers, Project Managers and Site Management teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed programmes, budgets, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project financial performance, commercial risk and profitability.
• Work closely with commercial teams to manage variations, valuations, contractual matters and cost control.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholders.

• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance across all projects.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, operational efficiency and overall project performance.
• Report directly to senior management on project delivery, commercial performance and operational matters.

CNX Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established construction contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of multiple construction projects across Central and East Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in refurbishment and/or interior fit-out projects to take a senior operational role within an established contractor.

The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction across a portfolio of projects, overseeing operational teams, maintaining client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and within budget.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have progressed through the refurbishment or interior fit-out sectors and have demonstrable experience managing multiple projects and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in a Senior Contracts Manager or similar senior operational role within the construction industry.
• Strong background in refurbishment and/or interior fit-out construction projects is essential.
• Experience managing multiple live construction projects simultaneously.
• Previous experience overseeing Contracts Managers, Project Managers and Site Managers.
• Strong commercial awareness with a good understanding of construction contracts, procurement and cost management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and confidently represent the business at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of construction health and safety legislation and industry regulations.
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects to programme, budget and quality expectations.
• Commercially minded with the ability to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across Central and East Scotland.
