Job summary

Aspirare Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong plumbing background to join our Maintenance Division in Hamilton. You will lead and coordinate Plumbers, Engineers and other trades, manage reactive repairs and planned maintenance, and ensure all works meet required standards.

The role is office-based in Hamilton, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with call-out payments and ongoing training. A trade qualification and SMSTS/CDM/IOSH training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in plumbing contracts, maintenance management or project management.
• Good understanding of SLAs, KPIs and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Manage plumbing and wider property maintenance contracts.
• Lead and coordinate Plumbers, Engineers and other trades.
• Oversee reactive plumbing repairs and planned preventative maintenance.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and service partners.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, costs, quality and contract performance.
• Review plumbing works, quotations, variations and technical requirements.
• Carry out site inspections and ensure work meets required standards.
• Manage customer relationships and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety, legislation and industry standards.

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong plumbing background to join our Maintenance Division. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plumber, Plumbing Supervisor or Plumbing Contracts professional looking to use their technical expertise in a senior management position.

• Completed plumbing apprenticeship
• Previous experience in Plumbing Contracts, Maintenance Management, Supervision or Project Management
• Experience managing plumbers, engineers and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, repairs and maintenance
• SMSTS, CDM and IOSH training
• Good understanding of SLA's, KPI's and contract management
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
