Role Overview

Do you want a hybrid role? Do you have facilities maintenance/hard services experience? Are you an experienced contract manager? Our client is currently seeking a Contract Manager to join their industry-leading Term Maintenance division to manage their new London schools trust contract. The contract involves electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supporting our clients from pre-planning and pre-programming of works through to completion.
2. Writing health and safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments, ensuring all sites have the appropriate documentation.
3. Ensuring the smooth running of sites through regular liaison with key stakeholders, supervisors, and sub-contractors.
4. Ensuring that the works programme is effectively resourced with labour, plant, and materials.
5. Monitoring works and performance against the contract to enable accurate monthly invoicing and final account settlement.
6. Building effective and professional working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
7. Managing a team of supervisors and support staff, ensuring continuous development of skills through training needs analysis.
8. Undertaking site visits, audit visits, and client meetings.

Requirements

• Proactive Contract Manager with experience delivering public sector contracts in the hard services engineering field.
• Solid experience with MS 365 and facilities management workflow systems.
• Experience working on Term Maintenance contracts or for public bodies is beneficial.
• NVQ level 4 / HND or above in engineering or construction-related field.
• CSCS card, full UK driving license, and a safety management qualification such as IOSH or SMSTS.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: £60-65k + depending on experience

• Hybrid working: 2 office days and 3 remote days, with site visits and client meetings included.
