Senior Contracts Manager - Commercial & Industrial Refurbishment

An extremely exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Contracts Manager to join a regional contractor based in Oxford, specialising in the refurbishment and fitting out of commercial and industrial properties with a focus on laboratories. This is a full-time, permanent position.

This contractor is a leader in the commercial refurbishment and fit-out sector within their region, committed to delivering the highest quality work and exceeding expectations.

Contracts Manager Duties:

1. Manage project paperwork
2. Oversee site team management
3. Coordinate design management
4. Ensure works are carried out to programme and within budget
5. Chair site meetings
6. Maintain client liaison
7. Coordinate with authorities such as Highways, Architects, and Consultants
8. Develop short-term programming
9. Promote and enforce health & safety standards
10. Report to the visiting Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager Criteria:

• Ability to lead a site team and subcontractors on projects ranging from £500k to £10M
• Strong experience in commercial and industrial refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance
• Desirable: experience working on laboratory/data centre fit-outs
• High personal safety and environmental standards
• Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid Trained
• Desirable: degree in Project Management
