Contracts Manager – Exeter

Exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager in Exeter! Join a regional construction company in Devon, overseeing a variety of projects to the highest standards. Projects include refurbishments, commercial new builds, and extensions in leisure, industrial, and education sectors, ranging from £10k to over £10m.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide regular project performance reports, including a comprehensive monthly report.
  • Manage multiple site teams effectively.
  • Contribute information for tender submissions.
  • Ensure contracts are delivered within agreed conditions and timeframes.
  • Line management of Senior Site Managers and site teams, monitoring performance and providing leadership.
  • Offer pre-construction and pre-contract advice to facilitate smooth site operations.
Skills:
  • Experience with Programming, JCT, and NEC Contracts, and design management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Understanding of building components, regulations, and materials.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • CSCS card.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Valid UK driving license.
