Our client is a leading Interior fit-out specialist in Essex offering the complete design, supply and installation of passive fire protection systems in commercial properties. They are looking to strengthen their Operations team with a high-calibre Contracts Manager based in Central London.

With an extensive portfolio of commercial offices, typical contracts vary from £100k to £1m. The Contracts Manager will have excellent communication and management skills to coordinate input from each department, maximize efficiency, and add value to the project. You must be fully conversant with cost management, planning activities safely, and have direct responsibility for all site activities. You will also implement business management system procedures and maintain a professional approach across all project aspects.

Your duties include taking full operational responsibility for fire protection projects from award to final handover, including design, procurement, and fit-out phases. You should be familiar with contract documents, drawings, method statements, programmes, reporting, record keeping, and project reviews.

Required Attributes and Experience:

• 10 years of construction site experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing bespoke interior and refurbishment projects.
• HND or Degree in construction or engineering-related discipline.
• SMSTS, CSCS Managers card, and relevant First Aid certification.
• Computer literacy with programming and planning experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Professional demeanor, ability to handle demanding situations, motivate teams, and deliver projects successfully.
