Role Overview:

The Commercial Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving sales effectiveness and optimizing the sales process. This position is responsible for managing sales operations, analyzing sales data, and supporting the sales team to achieve their targets.

This role is also responsible to manage all client contracts with marketing agencies, as well as some supplier agreements. This role is ideal for someone with a para-legal background or similar experience, with a strong understanding of contract management and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales operation strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Analyze sales data to provide insights and recommendations for improving sales performance.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to establish sales targets and monitor performance against goals.
  • Oversee the sales forecasting process and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Manage the implementation of sales tools and technologies to streamline operations.
  • Coordinate training programs for the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries and operational issues.
  • Draft, review, and manage client and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and suppliers to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related queries and issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contract terms align with business objectives.
  • Maintain a centralized database of all contracts and oversee renewals, expirations, and amendments.
  • Mitigate risks by identifying potential contractual issues and providing solutions.
  • Stay up to date with relevant legal and regulatory changes impacting contracts.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales operations or similar roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Experience in contract management, preferably within a marketing or professional services environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in contract management software or related tools is a plus.
