Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of roofing, refurbishment and general building projects across Yorkshire. You will take ownership from pre-start through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to high quality standards.

Projects typically range from £100k to £1m, with travel across Yorkshire and the North West. The role offers a salary of £50,000–£55,000 plus car allowance and long-term career

Qualifications

• Previous Contracts Manager experience in construction.
• Strong background in roofing, refurbishment, or general building projects.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple live projects across Yorkshire and the North West.
• Overseeing roofing, refurbishment, metal roofing systems and general building works.
• Planning and coordinating site activities to achieve programme and budget targets.
• Leading Site Managers, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Maintaining health & safety standards across all projects.
• Attending client meetings and maintaining relationships.
• Monitoring project performance, quality and commercial objectives.

Due to continued growth, a respected construction contractor is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a range of roofing, refurbishment, metal roofing and general building projects across Yorkshire. Offering a competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 plus car allowance, this is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who thrives on delivering multiple projects and building strong client relationships.

As Contracts Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Projects typically range from £100k to £1m, and you'll divide your time between site visits across Yorkshire and the North West, supporting site teams and maintaining close contact with clients and stakeholders.

The Role

• Managing multiple live projects across Yorkshire and the North West
• Overseeing roofing, refurbishment, metal roofing systems and general building works
• Planning and coordinating site activities to achieve programme and budget targets
• Leading Site Managers, subcontractors and supply chain partners
• Maintaining excellent health & safety standards across all projects
• Attending client meetings and ensuring strong customer relationships
• Monitoring project performance, quality and commercial objectives

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry
• Strong background in roofing, industrial roofing, cladding, metal roofing, refurbishment or general building projects
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced contracts simultaneously
• Full UK Driving Licence
