Job summary

Service Care Solutions is seeking a UV Adults Social Worker Level 3 for a short-term two-week contract with the Upper Valley & North Halifax Localities Team. The role is full-time (37 hours per week) and focuses on assessments, safeguarding, and legal work related to adult care for adults over 18 with disabilities and those over 65.

You will work with families, carers and MDTs to uphold human rights, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality social care.

Qualifications

• Assessments, safeguarding, and legal work related to adult care.
• Engagement with families, carers and MDTs to uphold human rights.

Responsibilities

• Complete strength-based Care Act assessments and reviews.
• Conduct safeguarding enquiries and investigations.
• Complete Mental Capacity Assessments (MCA) and make best-interest decisions.
• Participate in MDT meetings and collaborate with other professionals.
• Attend ICB reviews and complete CHC checklists and DST.
• Undertake S117 reviews and work with COP processes.
• Provide office cover support and screening tasks.
• Undertake other tasks as required by managers to ensure service excellence.
