Job summary

Brackenberry Limited is recruiting a Technical Officer (Level 2) for a 3-month contract to provide technical and engineering support across Streetscene and Transportation services in Flintshire. The role involves highway maintenance, traffic management, waste management and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and Council policies.

The successful candidate will have an HNC/NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience, and CPC/COTC where applicable, with strong

• Technical knowledge and experience in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong numeracy and IT skills, with ability to manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering advice to support Streetscene and Transportation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, inspections and measurements for infrastructure developments.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, tender documents and contract documentation.
• Supervise minor contract works on site to ensure compliance with requirements and health and safety.
• Develop and monitor traffic management and engineering schemes including road safety measures and road markings.
