Job summary

Flintshire County Council seeks a Technical Officer (Level 3) based at Alltami Depot to provide engineering support across highways, transportation and related services. The role covers scheme delivery, inspections, asset records and documentation to support safe, efficient roads.

You'll bring Incorporated Engineer status or equivalent along with substantial technical experience, ILM Level 3, and strong IT and communication skills to drive projects and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support highway maintenance, traffic management and road safety schemes.
• Investigate road traffic collisions and analyse data to recommend improvements.
• Supervise contracts and ensure health & safety and technical standards.
• Coordinate highway structure inspections and maintain asset records.
• Prepare technical specs, drawings, tender docs and schedules.
• Develop and monitor TROs and road safety measures.
• Assist with quality assurance and service performance monitoring.
