Job summary

Moody's Corporation in Manchester is seeking a Contract Specialist for a temporary contract role. You will manage the full contract lifecycle within the sales portfolio, drafting and negotiating Tier 1 agreements and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

You will collaborate across Finance, Legal, Billing and Sales, analyzing pricing, licensing, and terms to support renewals and revenue growth, while ensuring accurate data in CRM systems and a focus on risk mitigation and process

Responsibilities

• Manage the full contract lifecycle to support business growth, client satisfaction, and operational excellence across a dedicated sales portfolio
• Manage the end-to-end contract process for new business and renewal opportunities
• Participate in pipeline review meetings to advise on commercial approaches, identify contractual risks, set expectations, and help accelerate deal closure
• Analyze customer information, licensing requirements, pricing structures, and contract terms to support cross-selling, renewals, and revenue growth initiatives
• Independently draft and negotiate Tier 1 sales agreements in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate customer and transaction information across CRM systems and other business platforms
• Review executed contracts for completeness, validate compliance requirements, and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate for order processing
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Billing, and other stakeholders to support complex transactions, resolve issues, and implement contract modifications when required
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for internal and external client inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and a high level of customer satisfaction
