Job summary

Ganymede Energy is seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to deliver second fix electrical installations on new-build housing developments. You will test and commission Solar PV systems, install inverters and related equipment, and complete handover documentation.

A long-term contract offers stability with a growing renewable energy business. Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services, 18th Edition BS7671, Solar PV certification, ECS card, and valid UK driving licence,

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services or an equivalent qualification.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
Solar PV Certification.
ECS Card.
Competent Person Scheme - NICEIC, NAPIT etc.
A full UK driving licence.
Good communication skills and a professional approach.

Responsibilities

Carry out second fix installation, testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems.
Installing and wiring inverters and associated electrical equipment.
Carrying out remedial works, repairs and maintenance where required.
Completing installation paperwork and providing clear handover information.
