Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a Security Engineer (Contractor) to provide security domain expertise on a CIS and Cyber project. The role involves producing security artefacts, guiding engineering decisions, and ensuring security is integrated into design and testing across the project.

Ideal candidates will have PKI experience, a defence background, and familiarity with IS1/2, ISO27001 and related standards to support accreditation and documentation efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in large, complex systems across all project phases in a security context.
• Produced security designs and guided accreditation and support.
• Experience with PKI implementation within complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Create security deliverables with Technical Project Managers and Solution Design Team.
• Provide security authority and guidance to maintain Security in engineering decisions.
• Develop and support PKI aspects of the solution and project security documentation.
• Deliver coherent, integrated, and layered Security Architecture.
• Traceability of security design to requirements and assist secure configuration activities.
• Collaborate with wider Design and Test teams to provide evidence from security tests.
