Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a contractor to deliver security engineering expertise within CIS and Cyber domains. You will collaborate with project teams to develop security artifacts, provide security authority, and guide engineering decisions with PKI focus.

The role requires defence-domain experience, accreditation knowledge across IS1/IS2, ISO27001 and related standards, and the ability to produce traceable security designs and documentation. Start Nov/Dec 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in large, complex systems within a security context and proven security design work through accreditation.
• Experience with PKI and its implementation within complex systems.
• Familiar with Security Architectural Frameworks (IS1/IS2, ISO27001, NIST/NCIA or NATO standards) and security governance.

Responsibilities

• Work with Technical Project Managers and Solution Design Team to create required security deliverables.
• Provide security authority and guidance to the project, ensuring Security is part of all Engineering decisions.
• Provide expertise in PKI and development of PKI aspects of the solution.
• Support generation and maintenance of project level security documentation.
• Develop and support assurance for all project Security outputs.
• Ensure traceability of security design to requirements.
