Job summary

Fruition Group is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer for a hybrid role in Leeds with a one-day-per-week on-site presence. The contract offers a competitive rate and requires strong hands-on JMeter expertise to lead performance testing across a migrated estate.

The role involves defining workload models, collaborating with developers and infrastructure teams, and delivering evidence-based reports on capacity, scalability and risk.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering performance testing across complex, integrated estates.
• Strong understanding of NFRs and workload modelling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance testing approach across migrated estate.
• Design and execute JMeter load, stress, spike and soak tests.
• Define NFRs, workload models and performance criteria with stakeholders.
• Use Azure Monitor and Application Insights to identify bottlenecks and issues.
• Remediate with development/infrastructure teams and re-test fixes.
• Produce evidence-based performance reports covering NFR compliance, capacity, and risks.
