Job summary

VIQU Limited in Leeds is seeking an SC-cleared Non-Functional Test Lead to join a forward‑thinking team. You will design and execute performance, load and stress tests, ensuring alignment with the performance strategy and non‑functional requirements.

You will work closely with technical teams to troubleshoot issues, monitor systems with Grafana and Splunk, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines across cloud, hybrid and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Around three years' experience leading performance testing.
• Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner or Gatling.
• Experience with Azure/Cloud environments.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance, load and stress tests using JMeter, LoadRunner or Gatling.
• Troubleshoot issues with Grafana, Splunk and diagnostic tools such as New Relic and Dynatrace.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive robustness of systems across cloud, hybrid and on‑prem environments.

My client is seeking an SC-cleared Non-Functional Test Lead to join a forward-thinking team. You will bring proven experience in the following areas:

• Around three years' experience leading performance testing with JMeter


• Azure / Cloud (ADF would be useful but not essential)


• OAT and Functional Test Automation - tools such as Selenium, Playright, Cucumber in an Agile environment

You will design and execute performance, load and stress tests using JMeter, LoadRunner or Gatling, ensuring that testing aligns with the performance strategy and agreed non-functional requirements.

Working closely with technical teams to troubleshoot issues, monitor systems with Grafana and Splunk, and use diagnostics tools such as New Relic and Dynatrace. Later, you'll integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and drive improvements to ensure robust, scalable systems across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
