Job summary

QualityAI is seeking a Performance Test Engineer to drive performance assurance for cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments in London or Leeds. You will design tests, execute load and stress scenarios, and work with dev and architecture teams to ensure scalable and resilient applications.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing with JMeter, Gatling, and Docker/Kubernetes, plus scripting in Python or JavaScript, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Eggplant Performance).
• Experience testing cloud-based applications (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong understanding of Performance Testing methodologies and NFRs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance testing strategies and test plans.
• Perform load, stress, endurance, and volume testing.
• Analyze results and provide performance improvements.
• Monitor applications using Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, and Dynatrace.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to resolve issues.
