Job summary

BOSS Energy Consulting is a specialist recruitment firm focusing on techno-commercial talent for climate hardware and energy transition projects. We place contractors into live client requirements and build a pipeline of new contract work.

The role is hands-on, demanding a fast pace with 70% delivery and 30% lead generation, reporting to the Contracts Recruitment Director. Hybrid work arrangement encouraged, with a focus on sourcing, screening and onboarding contractors.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years' experience in contract recruitment, ideally in energy, engineering or construction.
• IR35/off-payroll rules and contractor compliance knowledge.
• Ability to source, screen and submit CVs quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Source and shortlist contractors within 48 hours of a brief.
• Screen for technical fit, rate, availability and compliance; prepare CV submissions.
• Generate qualified leads for new contracts and book introductory calls.
