Job description

Your new company

The services of Hays have been retained by our client, an established local building maintenance contractor based in South East Belfast, to recruit a Contract Performance Manager (MTC / PSA / SoR). This contractor works in partnership with a selection of public sector clients as their appointed MTC contractor on the delivery of their reactive and planned maintenance and small works projects including refurbishment, repairs, disabled adaptions, kitchen upgrade / replacement, bathroom upgrade / replacement, external works and emergency repairs.

Your new role

You will report to the company director and work closely with their senior management team and Quantity Surveyor’s to monitor the performance of contract delivery, ensuring the accuracy of invoicing on all logged jobs in line with the PSA schedule of rates. You will report on the completion of every job logged, working in line with the KPI structure of the client’s contracts.

In addition to contract performance, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting business health and safety, environmental and quality management systems in association with the Standards Manager.
  • Monitoring of staff training programmes, including booking training etc.
  • Collation of accounts payable on a monthly basis for payment.
  • Monitoring insurance details from contract supply chain members.
  • Dealing with client enquiries and management of the complaints process.
  • Supporting the Help Desk function, as necessary.
  • Other administrative duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working on the delivery of Measured Term Response Contracts to public sector clients.
A strong understanding of the PSA Schedule of Rates.
Competency in using Microsoft Office Word and Excel and maintaining/producing spreadsheets.

What you'll get in return

Salary – up to £40,000 per annum
Working hours Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
29 days annual leave including stat days
Based from our client’s office in South East Belfast, you will work alongside a vibrant and experienced team of 10 office-based staff.
Free on-site car parking.
