TLT is recruiting a Contract Paralegal for the Retail Mortgage Services team in Manchester on a 3-6 month contract. The role is full-time and based in our Manchester office, with day-rate pay via umbrella company.

You will manage fee-earning cases, prepare documentation, liaise with clients and third parties, and ensure accurate data capture in Peppermint for MI. Strong billing hygiene and process improvement are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent paralegal experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Accurate, well-organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Word and Outlook; Excel/PowerPoint beneficial.

Responsabilités

Contract Paralegal - Retail Mortgage Services

TLT are recruiting for a Contract Paralegal to join our Retail Mortgage Services (RMS) Team in Manchester for a 3-6 month contract. This role is based full time from our TLT Manchester office and will be paid a day rate via an Umbrella Company.

Your Role

As a Paralegal you will be responsible for the following:

• Fee earning end to end case work including being responsible for your own cases allocated in accordance with resourcing thresholds, under supervision
• Preparation of documentation, liaising with clients, customers (as and when required), third

parties to progress cases through the appropriate process within SLA

• Reviewing incoming correspondence from third parties
• Ensuring Peppermint system is accurately updated to allow data capture and MI to be

produced

• Responsible for delivering an excellent client service through case management
• Full financial management of matters with high level of financial hygiene specifically in relation to billing
• Play an active role in continuous improvement and change within relevant team and support

Senior management team in that respect

• Undertake work within the regulatory and industry frameworks, policies and procedures
• Maintain a culture of positive behaviour and role modelling within the team

Your Skills and Experience

• Degree, previous paralegal or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
• Accuracy, good organisational skills, ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and

flexibility

• Good knowledge of Word and Outlook is required and experience in Excel, PowerPoint,

interwoven would be beneficial
