Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for a contract role in Leicester. Lead coordination of mechanical installations, review design information and drive progress against the programme on a major development.

You will liaise with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and compliance, while upholding health and safety standards. The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, ability to interpret drawings, and proven capability to manage project

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Project Engineer in Building Services or M&E sector.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, ventilation and pipework.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and technical docs.
• Experience managing project programmes and milestones.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CSCS card holder; SMSTS/SSSTS or First Aid advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical installations and manage design information.
• Progress work in line with project programmes and milestones.
• Review drawings and technical submissions for buildability and compliance.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors and site teams; attend meetings.
• Ensure works comply with safety regulations and company procedures.
