Job summary

PSR Solutions in Leicester is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer for a contract role on a major development. You will manage mechanical installations, coordinate design information and drive programs to hit milestones.

The role requires HVAC expertise, design coordination skills, and strong communication with managers, consultants and subcontractors on a high-value project.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, pipework and related mechanical systems.
• Experience reviewing and coordinating design information.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical installations across the project lifecycle.
• Review design information and ensure buildability and compliance.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and site teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor progress against programmes and manage risks to milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works meet programme requirements.
• Carry out inspections to ensure standards are met.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover and client meetings.
• Ensure activities comply with Health & Safety regulations.
