Job summary

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to support the large Alderley Park site in Macclesfield, on a temporary contract until 9 November.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services, diagnose faults on HVAC and LTHW/CLTHW systems, and work with the team to ensure safety, quality and timely completion, with potential extension or conversion.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical engineering qualification.
• Strong experience in mechanical building services maintenance.
• Experience fault finding on HVAC and associated mechanical systems.
• Experience with heating, ventilation and air conditioning plant.
• Experience with pumps, motors, LTHW and CLTHW systems.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and building services faults.
• Carry out fault finding on HVAC, LTHW, CLTHW systems, pumps, motors and associated plant.
• Support the maintenance and operation of mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergency situations.
