Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Engineer for a 12-month rolling contract with an immediate start, focused on industrialisation and scale-up of a mechanical product. You will support new product introduction (NPI) and DFМ, design production line layouts, write work instructions and BoMs, and apply lean manufacturing methods to maximise flow.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• NPI/DFM experience.
• Ability to write work instructions and manage BoMs.
• Hands-on, proactive problem-solving with lean skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new product introduction and scale-up for volume manufacture.
• Develop processes, write work instructions and maintain BoMs.
• Design production layouts and line layouts for efficiency and flow.
• Identify equipment and tooling needs (Capex) for manufacturing.
