Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd is seeking an experienced Electro‑Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our fast‑paced manufacturing team on a 6 month contract. This hands‑on role requires attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from technical drawings and assembly instructions.

Applicants with previous experience in safety‑critical environments such as automotive, aerospace or medical devices will be particularly well suited.

Qualifications

• Previous electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly experience
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, medical or other safety-critical manufacturing environment
• Able to read and work from engineering/technical drawings
• Soldering skills
• Confident using hand tools and measuring equipment
• Experience assembling small, detailed components

Responsibilities

• Build electro‑mechanical assemblies from technical drawings
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components
• Soldering
• Use hand tools and measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers
• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
• Carry out upgrades and repairs to electro‑mechanical assemblies
• Work to defined quality procedures and standards
