Job summary

P.Plunkett Tiling Contractors Ltd is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee tiling contracts from award to completion. The role spans site-based and office-based work at our Prudhoe offices, requiring coordinating resources, reviewing drawings, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will manage budgets, variations, and final accounts while reporting on project performance and maintaining client-supplier relationships across nationwide projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract or project management within construction or tiling works.
• Strong planning, organization and deadline-fulfilment abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with clients and contractors.
• Knowledge of construction processes, drawings, specs and safety regs.
• Experience with cost control, variations, valuations and budgets.
• Proficiency with office software and ability to learn company systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tiling contracts from award to completion.
• Plan project programs, allocate resources and manage site teams.
• Review drawings/specifications and coordinate material orders.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and manage variations/valuations.
• Report on project performance and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
