Job summary

Blok N Mesh is seeking a Contracts Manager for our Witham operations with UK travel required. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and overseeing subcontract installation works to deliver projects safely, on time, and to quality standards.

You will liaise between customers, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure successful contract delivery from instruction to completion, with a hands-on approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in contracts management, project management or similar operational roles.
• Experience coordinating multiple workstreams or sites from planning to completion.
• Strong understanding of site operations, quality assurance and safe systems of work.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and oversee subcontract installation works from initial instruction through to completion.
• Conduct site visits to assess queries and variations, developing plans to resolve them.
• Coordinate subcontractors to follow work plans, specs, timescales and safety requirements.
• Monitor site progress, quality, compliance and health and safety standards.
• Carry out post-completion inspections to ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Act as the main operational contact for allocated customers, resolving issues professionally.
• Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager on progress, workload, risks and issues.
• Support office-based teams to ensure smooth delivery of contracts.
• Attend project reviews and subcontractor briefings as required.
• Provide departmental cover during periods of absence.
