Overview

Contract Manager based in Grays, Essex. The role focuses on managing technical accounts, leading engineering teams, and ensuring compliant service delivery on a large site.


Responsibilities


  • Directly manage a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and performance.

  • Manage all technical issues.

  • Manage P&L and budgets.

  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA-s.

  • Responsible for managing the company\'s H&S and environmental performance on site.

  • Plan and implement building project works.

  • Responsible for managing the company\'s quality procedures on site.

  • Management of client relationships on a daily basis.

  • Management of all reports.

  • Responsible for the permit system.

  • Oversee technical contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.

  • Monitor and report on contract performance, financials, and operational delivery.


Qualifications / Requirements


  • Previous experience managing technical contracts in a facilities or engineering environment.

  • Experience of service delivery in high profile offices.

  • Ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.

  • Proven experience in managing engineers directly, including performance management and team leadership.

  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen and budget management experience.

  • Health & Safety knowledge (IOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirable).

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
