Job summary

Fairford Associates seeks a Contract Manager to oversee a Cardiff city centre portfolio of cleaning contracts, including car showrooms, educational and medical sites, and blue light buildings. The role reports to the Regional Manager and requires driving service delivery to time, cost and quality across multiple sites.

You will own allocated contracts, liaise with clients, coordinate workloads, and ensure compliance with HS&E, budgets and recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Own allocated contracts ensuring standards & specifications are met.
• Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction with the service.
• Schedule and complete workload in line with reports and QC cycles.
• Oversee payroll processing to deadlines.
• Manage budgets across the portfolio.
• Recruit to ensure contracts are fully staffed.
• Adhere to vetting and security protocols.
• Manage HS&E requirements, risk, and controls.
• Oversee materials and equipment issued to contracts.
• Identify and deliver staff training requirements.
• Facilitate change within the business.
• Maintain company vehicle according to policy.
• Lead and motivate cleaning teams on site.
• Plan and communicate mobile teams schedules.
• Communicate with staff at all levels.
• Handle disciplinary issues per company procedures.
• Identify opportunities for new work within territory.
• Be flexible to ad-hoc client requests.
• Maintain professional conduct and protect business interests.
