Mitie is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead the delivery of integrated facilities management at a flagship 97,000m² manufacturing site in Peterborough. The fixed-term contract will oversee Engineering, Cleaning, Security, Catering and Specialist Suppliers, ensuring service delivery and compliance to contract standards.

You will act as the single client contact, manage budgets and KPIs, lead a site team and drive continuous improvement while ensuring health, safety, and QHSE

• City & Guilds or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience in contract or facilities management in a client-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and environmental compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs and subcontractor performance.
• IT literate with experience using CAFM platforms.

ROLE: Contract Manager 6 Month FTCLOCATION: Peterborough

This fixed-term opportunity will oversee Engineering, Cleaning, Security, Catering and Specialist Suppliers, ensuring exceptional service delivery, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of contact for the client across all FM service lines.
• Manage contract performance, budgets, KPIs and service improvements.
• Oversee major works programmes, subcontractor performance and procurement activities.
• Ensure facilities, infrastructure and building fabric are maintained in line with contractual standards.
• Produce management reports, support audits and manage scope changes effectively.
• Manage CAFM performance, work order completion and maintenance planning activities.
• Ensure statutory compliance, health & safety standards and QHSE procedures are fully adhered to.
• Lead, develop and support the site team, including performance management, training and succession planning.

Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• City & Guilds or equivalent technical qualification.
• Previous contract or facilities management experience within a client-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and environmental compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs and subcontractor performance.
• IT literate with experience using industry-specific systems and CAFM platforms.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
• Previous experience managing multi-service FM contracts.
• Strong understanding of technical services and asset management.
• Experience leading teams within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
