Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Peterborough is seeking a Contract Manager to lead delivery of integrated facilities management services at a flagship 97,000m² manufacturing site.

The role oversees Engineering, Cleaning, Security, Catering and Specialist Suppliers, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction, with reporting, budgets and performance management as core duties.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or equivalent technical qualification.
• Previous contract or facilities management experience within a client-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and environmental compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs and subcontractor performance.
• IT literate with experience using industry-specific systems and CAFM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for the client across all FM service lines.
• Manage contract performance, budgets, KPIs and service improvements.
• Oversee major works programmes, subcontractor performance and procurement activities.
• Ensure facilities, infrastructure and building fabric are maintained in line with contractual standards.
• Produce management reports, support audits and manage scope changes effectively.
• Manage CAFM performance, work order completion and maintenance planning activities.
• Ensure statutory compliance, health & safety standards and QHSE procedures are fully adhered to.
• Lead, develop and support the site team, including performance management, training and succession planning.

This fixed-term opportunity will oversee Engineering, Cleaning, Security, Catering and Specialist Suppliers, ensuring exceptional service delivery, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for the client across all FM service lines.
• Manage contract performance, budgets, KPIs and service improvements.
