Job summary

Cavendish (Recruitment) Professionals Ltd is recruiting a Contract Manager to join a London-based client delivering cladding, remediation and fire safety projects in the social housing and education sectors. You will monitor programmes, budgets and safety compliance while leading site teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

Requirements include CSCS Management Card, SMSTS, First Aid, and a Full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifications

• Contract Manager with cladding, façade, remediation or fire safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety remediation, building regulations and legislation.
• Experience managing site teams.
• Ability to monitor programmes, budgets, quality standards, and health and safety compliance.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to identify, manage and report project risks, programme updates and commercial performance to senior management.
• Excellent organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
• CSCS Management Card, SMSTS, First Aid and Full UK Driving Licence are essential.

Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to join one of our well-established clients in London.

Our client delivers a wide range of construction and maintenance services throughout the social housing and education sectors. With an established reputation for quality and reliability, they manage projects ranging from refurbishment and remediation works to planned maintenance and asset improvement programmes.

Project Location: Southwark, London

Duration: Full Time, PAYE

Monday – Friday

Salary - £80K-£90K (depending upon experience)

Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the cladding, façade, remediation, or fire safety sector.
• Strong understanding of fire safety remediation works, building regulations, and relevant legislation.
• Experience managing site teams.
• Ability to monitor project programmes, budgets, quality standards, and health and safety compliance.
• Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to identify, manage, and report project risks, programme updates, and commercial performance to senior management.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
• Valid CSCS Management Card (Essential).
• SMSTS / First Aid (Essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
