Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our team in Hemel Hempstead on our Cormar contract. This customer-facing role requires a commercially savvy individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service and driving growth.

Salary - £Competitive

How will you contribute?
  • Build relationships with customers, secure contract renewals, and ensure business excellence.
  • Ensure all KPIs, such as operational and financial targets, are met.
  • Engage, develop, and motivate your team to promote a positive workplace and drive engagement.
  • Advocate for excellent customer experience.
  • Work efficiently to meet deadlines, ensuring customer satisfaction and service targets are achieved in line with our values and behaviors.
  • Maintain effective communication throughout operations, providing updates on performance, company news, and procedures.
  • Develop an effective people resourcing plan to meet business needs.
  • Build relationships with business partners to meet service level agreements.
  • Participate in budget reviews with added value thinking for the customer.
  • Ensure operations benefit both the customer and the company.
What will you bring?
  • Senior management experience within a 3PL environment, FMCG, or supply chain, with understanding of processes and operational requirements.
  • Familiarity with stringent service level expectations in transport and warehouse environments.
  • Commercial acumen with ability to deliver benefits against an open-book budget.
  • Experience working closely with clients and developing effective relationships.
  • Proactive, flexible, self-motivated, and driven to achieve.
  • Continuous improvement mindset for processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to operate in a highly customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to commute to Hemel Hempstead five days a week.
