Linear Recruitment Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager to lead contractual and commercial activities on specialist infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on EV charging infrastructure and secure public-sector sites.

You will manage contracts from award to completion, negotiate terms, monitor changes, risks and performance, and provide direct support to Project Managers and delivery teams, while ensuring health, safety and compliance are embedded.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in M&E, electrical infrastructure, EV charging, construction, civil engineering or related sector.
• Knowledge of NEC and other standard forms of contract.
• Experience managing contractual risks, variations and claims.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractual aspects of projects from award through to completion.
• Review, negotiate and administer contracts and subcontracts.
• Ensure client, contractual and compliance requirements are met.
• Provide contractual support to Project Managers and delivery teams.
• Manage client, supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor variations, change control, claims, risks and contract performance.
• Maintain accurate contractual records and reporting.
• Report contractual risks, opportunities and financial performance to senior management.
• Support tenders, bids and framework opportunities.
• Ensure health, safety and compliance requirements are incorporated into projects.
• Manage confidential and commercially sensitive information.
• Support continuous improvement across contract management and project delivery.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a specialist infrastructure team delivering technically complex projects, with a strong focus on EV charging infrastructure and secure public-sector sites.

The Contracts Manager will oversee the contractual and commercial aspects of multiple projects, managing obligations, risks and delivery. The role would suit candidates from an M&E, electrical, infrastructure, construction or similar technical background. Some projects may require higher levels of security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage contractual aspects of projects from award through to completion.

• Proven Contracts Manager or similar experience.
• Experience in M&E, electrical infrastructure, EV charging, construction, civil engineering or a related sector.

• Experience managing contractual risks, variations and claims.
• Competent with contract management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to obtain required security clearance where necessary.
