Job summary

Chroma Recruitment is seeking an Interim HR Transformation Lead (Contractor) in Manchester on a hybrid basis, with 2-3 days onsite and a 3-6 month engagement. This delivery-focused role supports a major UK consumer brand, executing the HR transformation work rather than directing it.

The role requires hands-on experience with reward systems, HRIS configuration (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM), and establishing HR shared services, collaborating closely with payroll and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing or redesigning reward structures (pay, grading, bonuses, benefits).
• Experience implementing or configuring an HRIS platform (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
• Experience setting up or running HR shared services operations.
• Delivery-focused role with practical execution, not purely strategic leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the design or redesign of reward structures — pay & grading, bonus schemes, and benefits.
• Support the implementation or configuration of the organisation's HRIS platform.
• Help establish or improve HR shared services processes and transactional support.
• Work with HR business partners, payroll, and IT to deliver changes safely.
• Document new processes and ensure smooth handover into business-as-usual.
• Identify practical improvements to the current HR service delivery model.
