Job summary

AND Digital is seeking a Contract Flutter Engineer to join an in-house backend engineering team working on a highly regulated medical technology product in London. You will own a self-contained area from initial design through tested and documented code, potentially covering alarms, patient data persistence, device supervision and service functionality.

This role requires experience with Dart/Flutter on embedded Linux, Flutter Bloc patterns, unit and integration testing, CI, and rigorous quality

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience deploying Dart and Flutter interfaces on embedded Linux
• Deep knowledge of flutter_bloc, Cubit, and provider architectural patterns
• Proven background building socket connections using FlatBuffers over local TCP
• Strong ability to create performant CustomPainter charts for high-frequency data
• Experience with flutter localizations, ARB files, and timezone-aware rendering
• Strong testing track record: unit, widget, screenshot, regression
• Experience with CI, peer reviews, inline documentation, and clear requirements mapping

Responsibilities

• Construct guided setup workflows and patient ID workflows
• Deliver real-time metrics and data visualization features
• Build alert views, silence controls, and status panels
• Develop screens for system boot, permissions, and data export
