Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an External Site Manager for a tier 1 main contractor on a freelance basis in Cambridgeshire. Start ASAP, project focuses on groundworks and external package; you’ll work alongside a Senior Project Manager to deliver the package.

You will lead site activities, attend prestart and design team meetings, chair weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, approve RAMS, enforce H&S, coordinate with supply chain, and bring a tech-savvy approach.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification required.
• CSCS card required.
• First Aid at Work certification required.
• Knowledge of groundworks is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend and contribute in contractor prestart meetings.
• Attend and contribute in design team meetings.
• Chair weekly sub-contractor progress meetings and issue minutes.
• Attend safe starts and approve RAMS.
• Attend DABs and coordinate with other trades.
• Lead meetings when needed and share DABs report with the team.
• Enforce health & safety on site.
• Identify buildability solutions and coordinate with supply chain.
