Job summary

The Redline Group has an urgent requirement for a Contract Electronics Design Engineer – Altium to support an innovative engineering business based in Cambridge. This role focuses on hands-on electronics design, PCB development, testing and product validation, working closely with Senior Electronics Engineers on a dedicated development project.

The contractor will be required on-site in Cambridge, ideally 5 days per week for an initial 3-6 month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Strong electronics design experience.
• PCB design & layout using Altium.
• Analogue and mixed-signal design proficiency.
• Hands-on testing and commissioning.
• Microcontrollers and sensor-based electronics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on electronics design, PCB development, testing and product validation.

The company develops advanced safety technologies and is seeking an experienced contractor to support the development of a next-generation product currently in the beta phase of development.

This is a hands‑on role focused on electronics design, PCB development, testing and product validation, working closely with Senior Electronics Engineers - Altium on a dedicated development project.
