Contract Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Gloucester

Duration: 6–Month Contract

Rate: 500 per day (Outside IR35)

Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in M&E plant room design? We're seeking a skilled contractor to support our client in delivering high–quality electrical designs for bespoke customer projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce detailed electrical designs for M&E plant rooms.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and clients to tailor designs to specific requirements.
• Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards and project specifications.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in electrical design, particularly for mechanical and electrical (M&E) plant rooms.
• Ability to produce high–quality designs for customer approval.
• Ideally experienced with SolidWorks Electrical or similar design tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a contract environment.
