We're looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Contract Consultant to join a busy and supportive team in Telford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys administration, supporting people, coordinating processes, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
As a Contract Consultant, you'll play a vital role in supporting a flexible workforce, managing payroll-related processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing first-class support to associates and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Associate Support
- Manage weekly payroll checks and ensure accuracy of hours worked
- Investigate missing clock-ins, payroll discrepancies, and timesheet queries
- Liaise with payroll teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Support associates with pay, holiday, sickness, and overtime enquiries
- Maintain holiday records and approvals
Recruitment & Compliance Administration
- Verify Right-to-Work documentation
- Ensure all compliance requirements are completed before assignment starts
- Issue contracts, assignment details, references, and onboarding communications
- Maintain accurate candidate records across internal systems
- Assign new starters to roles and update workforce databases
Workforce Planning & Flex Pool Management
- Monitor workforce availability and shift fulfilment
- Communicate schedule changes and shift updates
- Support fair and transparent allocation of shifts
- Build strong relationships with associates to maintain engagement and attendance
- Ensure workforce scheduling information remains accurate and up to date
General Administration
- Maintain accurate records and operational documentation
- Manage shared inboxes and respond to queries professionally
- Produce reports and provide information to managers and colleagues
- Answer inbound calls and support day-to-day office operations
- Ensure data accuracy across workforce and scheduling systems
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident data entry and system management experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
- Experience within recruitment, payroll, workforce planning, customer service, or administration would be advantageous
