Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced Contract CNC Turner to join their engineering team in Northampton. You will program, set and operate twin spindle turning machinery, working to tight tolerances and maintaining traceability and documentation.

You will work with Siemens Sinumerik controls (828D/840D), interpret engineering drawings with GD&T, and use inspection equipment to verify own work. This contract role offers a competitive rate and an opportunity to contribute to Motorsport,

Qualifications

Familiarity with twin spindle turning applications.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience working to tight tolerances and performing in-process inspection.

Programme, set and operate twin spindle turning applications.
Work with Siemens controls.
Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T requirements.

You’ll be responsible for programming, setting and operating twin spindle turning machinery, working to tight tolerances and maintaining the highest standards of quality, traceability and documentation.
