Job summary
Owen Daniels in Northampton is seeking an experienced Contract CNC Turner to join a high-performance engineering team. You will programme, set and operate twin spindle turning machinery to tight tolerances for Motorsport, Automotive and Marine applications.
You’ll work with Siemens controls and maintain traceability and documentation to a high standard. The role is a contract position with a competitive hourly rate and a fixed pattern: Mon-Thu 14:00–23:00, Fri 12:00–20:00.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with twin spindle turning applications.
- Experience with Siemens Sinumerik 828D and 840D controls.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Experience working to tight tolerances and conducting in-process inspection.

You’ll be responsible for programming, setting and operating twin spindle turning machinery, working to tight tolerances and maintaining the highest standards of quality, traceability and documentation.
