Contract Civil Design Engineer

Rate: £40/hr - £45/hr (outside IR35)

Location: South Manchester (remote/hybrid working)

We are seeking a contract senior civil engineer on behalf of a civil structural consultancy near Cheadle. The role offers flexibility with remote/hybrid work arrangements.

You will have extensive experience in designing civil infrastructure projects, including drainage and highway design. The role can involve 1 or 2 days in the office or remote, with meetups as needed. The workload is estimated at 20 to 40 hours per week for the foreseeable future.

About you:

• Experienced in civil infrastructure, drainage, highway, and building-related projects
• Proficient with software such as Civil 3D, Microdrainage, and Causeway Flow

Immediate start available. Ongoing work at approximately £40 - £45/hr (outside IR35). The position can be full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (20+ hours/week) depending on your capacity.
